Abstract

Abstract

Climate change impacts all human systems including livelihoods of allregions of the world. The livelihoods activities of the sub-Sahara Africa inparticular are already affected because of the fact that the region is highlydependent on natural resources, most of which are climate sensitive. Thispaper reviews attributes of livelihoods impacts of climate risks and provideshighlights of adaptation strategies and monitoring tools that are availablewithin the region.
