About the Journal

The LEAD Journal of Languages and Literature (LJLL) is an annual, peer-reviewed scholarly journal from the Department of Languages and Literature at Lead City University in Ibadan, 
Nigeria. It publishes original research and book reviews in all areas of languages, literature, and communication studies. The journal emphasizes successful practical work, clear descriptions, 
and robust frameworks that inspire new research ideas and promote the practical application of research findings.
We are pleased to announce that we are accepting papers for publication in the second volume of our journal. We invite original, high-quality research contributions from local, regional, and international communities. The editorial board maintains a strict policy against plagiarism and reserves the right to reject any manuscript found to be plagiarized.

Author Guidelines
Manuscripts should follow this structure: Title (no more than 22 words); Author Details (Name, 
Affiliation, Phone number, Email address); Abstract (between 150 and 200 words with 3-5 keywords); and the Body of the Work (Introduction, Literature Review, Materials and Methods, 
Results, Conclusion, References in APA 6th or 7th edition). The manuscript should not exceed 12 pages and must be formatted in 12pt Times New Roman, double-spaced, and submitted as a Microsoft Office Word file.

Article Processing Charges
A non-refundable reviewer’s fee of Five Thousand Naira (N5000) must be paid with your manuscript submission. If your paper is accepted for publication, an additional Thirty Thousand Naira (N30,000) publication fee will be required. Payments should be made to Access Bank Plc, 
account number 0077074853, and evidence of payment should be sent to the journal email: 
jll@lcu.edu.ng.
