Thispaper highlights who is a positive youth leader, the key components of positive youthleadership, the significance of positive youth leadership, the positive impact it hason individuals, communities, and society as a whole. Also, the study review ways onhow someone can become a positive youth leader. The study is anchored onTransformational Leadership Theory developed by Downton and further expandedupon by Burns. The study concluded that positive youth leaders can cultivate anenvironment that promotes personal and collective growth, encourages innovation,and instills a sense of purpose and commitment to creating a better future. It wassuggested among others that educational institutions can create an environmentthat nurtures positive youth leadership, empowering young individuals to becomeinfluential change agents and leaders of tomorrow.
