Abstract

The Book Review is well-suited and appropriately harmonises all the articles in this volume with special focus on
national and international politics of climate change, Kyoto Protocol, ecology farmers-herders’ conflicts, ethnicity
and human rights. The book reviewers-Oseni and Owoeye, in alignment with the author, are of the view that
international politics of climate change is not likely to end soon because States/ countries are governed or
administered based on national interest which may be invigorated by elite interest or different ideological
inclination. The lacuna noted in the book is the neglect of the significance of climate change in Nigeria’s
contemporary security stance
